Baptist Community Centre of Csáktornya
The Baptist community of Csáktornya (now in Croatia) turned to our office in 1994 to give a mandate for us to work out the plans of their building complex of the church and community centre on the outskirts of the town. The building is divided into two parts: one is the chapel with an unusual belfry forming its integral part which gives the main emphasis to the complex, the other is the wing which makes place for the community’s everyday religious life, educational, or ceremonial events and accommodation. Another important element of the facade is the rotunda-like tabernacle with its baptismal pool for adults.
